Halfway between Madrid and Barcelona (1 h 35 min and 1 h 30 min by AVE), Zaragoza is building a brand-new 43,110-seat stadium for 2027.

The capital of Aragón, Zaragoza is the ideal stop between Madrid and Barcelona. Its Nueva Romareda, still a building site, is due to be handed over in 2027.

Getting there

AVE from Madrid in 1 h 35 min (25 trains a day) and from Barcelona in 1 h 30 min. The regional airport (Ryanair, Vueling) is 10 km away.

Getting around

Tram and buses: €1.70 a journey, €0.55 with the Tarjeta Bus (2026 fares). La Romareda is served by tram line 1.
