The Monumental, under construction until 2029 to reach 101,000 seats, will host Argentina’s centenary match.
Buenos Aires will see the World Cup again for the first time since the 1978 final, in an expanded and covered Monumental. The works ($145 million according to Infobae) began in June 2026.
